It isn’t just “one pill a day” (video)

Be sceptical when the gay (ill)health organisations say that HIV is easy to treat, you simply take a pill(s) a day and get on with your life.

This is misleading. As HIV mutates and becomes drug resistant there is a need for a “novel” approach which means getting on the right treatment that works can be problematic with the patient needing a combination of drugs. This can take time to find the right combination. As always science is always playing catch up.
